FUSION OF SAMBURU CULTURE AND ELEPHANT CONSERVATION SPURRING HOUSEHOLD PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FOR LUXURIOUS APARTMENTS IN NAIROBI

                                                    ABSTRACT
This is an exploratory study that seeks to investigate the household product identities
found in Kenyan homes, to determine whether we celebrate our rich and vast cultural
heritage in owning and purchasing these items. We shall begin by building a
conceptual background on the study area. The literature review will give insight on
opinion from stakeholders in the respective study fields. Being a product designer,
materials is a core element in the design process and shall be tackled in chapter
three. The design methodology opens our eyes to the reality on the ground especially
upon the analysis of the findings thereafter. And finally the study cannot be complete
without an insight into recommendations and conclusions.
