Student Abstract

Designing with culture in mind is a way to express a person's beliefs and lifestyle factors that
make you who you are. The main objective of the paper was to investigate Egyptian(Arabic)
geometric patterns, art, and designs from Egypt: can be incorporated in the interior and exterior
spaces at The Arabian Cuisine restaurant to facilitate the appreciation of Egyptian(Arabian)cul -
ture while at the same time improving the experience of users. The study took The Arabian Cuisine
restaurant as a case study with the key areas of interest being interior design, furniture design,
exhibition and display and landscape architecture.
