Duracoat Awards of Academic Excellence is a Basco Paint activity informed by the institution's Community Social Responsibility  policy.

The prestigious Awards recognizes top graduates from Higher Learning Institutions with a purpose of enhancing education as key pillar in the Basco paints CSR policy. Three students from StAD namely, Wendy Mutua, Valarie Jepkoech and Opany Peterclavers were among the top winners of the 2017/18 Academic year.
