Many sectors have witnessed disruptions following  advancement in technology. The Kenyan Advertising Ecosystem is revolutionizing owing to this digital transformation.

Amelia Aganda from Safaricom intimated to major shifts  in Advertising in Kenya during a lecture at the school.

The Advertising industry in Kenya is fast adopting Interactive Advertising.

This incorporates emotional persuasion, pschological persuation and design thinking as key concepts of advertising while focusing on Brand positioning via the digital enabler to transform lives of the consumer.

The speaker shared her experience and history of advertising while highlighting the new trends and challenges. The Safaricom Tuko Nawe branding and advertising was reviewed to illustrate the concept of interactive advertising.

The design students were challenged to grab the various opportunities arising from the converge advertising.
