63rd GRADUATION CEREMONY

The 63rd graduation convocation of the University of Nairobi is scheduled for 25th September 2020. The virtual ceremony occasioned by the Covid 19 disruption will be a mix of tradition and technology giving the graduands a different experience from other similar past events.

School of Arts and Design class of 2020 will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Design and will join the event through online platforms through the link http://www.uonbi.ac.ke/livestream.

2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

The 2020/2021 academic year is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2020 as announced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kiama in an address to the University community on Friday 7th August 2020.

All the 8,425 freshmen admitted to the university will undertake virtual registration, orientation and proceed with web based learning as it is the case with the continuing students. A decision Prof. Kiama said was reached on after deliberations by the University senate  .
