FUNDING FOR AGENDA 2030 IN AFRICAN CITIES

Dr. Amollo Ambole of the School of Arts and Design is a lead researcher for one of the 8 projects funded by the International Science Council through the Leading Integrated Research for Agenda 2030 in Africa (LIRA2030) programme.


Dr Ambole will lead a team of researchers from Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Ghana cities to conduct comprehensive study and analysis on Informing energy futures through lessons from science-policy-society interactions.

NIDEC 2020

Design Kenya Society has launched this year's annual Nairobi International Design Conference (NIDEC) theme dabbed Design zeitgeist Africa (DZA).

The event scheduled for September will run through 25th to 28th and will be seeking to mirror the aspirations, the heart and soul of Africa design for posterity. The conference will concide with the Design Kenya Society DSA commemoration of a decade continuous engagement with designers at home in Kenya, across the African continent and throughout the world.
